Quebec:
- The provincial government has allocated $5 million to support projects submitted under the Digital Exploration and Deployment program in 2021 and 2022.
- The funds are intended to support the digital shift of cultural organizations and professional artists, thus enabling them to increase their skills. in digital matters and to optimize the discoverability of their content.
- The Digital Exploration and Deployment program has enabled 84 cultural organizations and 52 professional artists across Quebec to carry out projects.

- The provincial government is providing $3 million in temporary assistance for private and alternative venues. This is on top of $6 million granted in 2020-21 as part of the economic recovery plan for the cultural sector.
- The funds are intended to support private and alternative theaters facing a liquidity crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, maintain viable and sustainable access conditions to places where music or variety shows are broadcast, and facilitate the resumption and relaunch of broadcasting activities.

Ontario:
- The provincial government is providing $86 million to help train up to 8,000 personal support workers through private career colleges and district school boards.
- Financial support will be available to new students enrolled in a PSW program at one of the participating Ontario Student Assistance Program-approved private career colleges.
- Eligible students in private career colleges can receive up to $13,235 to cover the costs of tuition, books and other mandatory fees, as well as a stipend for a clinical work placement.
- To be eligible for financial support, students must start their training at a participating private career college between May 1 and July 31, 2021.

Saskatchewan:
- The provincial government is extending the Saskatchewan Small Business Emergency Payment program by one month. The program will accept applications until May 31, 2021.
- The extended support is available to businesses across the province that were ordered to temporarily close or substantially curtail operations due to public health orders.

Alberta:
- The provincial government has launched a new Temporary Rent Assistance Benefit for eligible Albertans.
- Under the redesigned Rent Supplement Program, the temporary benefit provides a subsidy for working households with low income, or those between jobs.
- Support is available for up to two years to help tenants pay rent while they stabilize or improve their situation.

British Columbia:
- The provincial government is adding more than $75 million to the Circuit Breaker Business Relief Grant, bringing the amount available to more than $125 million.
- The grant remains open to the 14,000 restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, gyms and fitness facilities impacted by the March 31 health orders.
- The grant is now also open to the more than 5,300 hotels, motels and other short-term accommodations impacted by the April 23 emergency order to restrict travel between regional zones.

- Full-time and part-time employees are now eligible to take up to three hours of paid leave to receive each dose of their COVID-19 vaccine.
- This amendment to the Employment Standards Act is intended to support British Columbians through the current COVID-19 pandemic and will be in place until repealed by regulation.
