Nova Scotia:
- The provincial government is investing an additional $17.2 million in the Small Business Impact Grant Part 3 to support small businesses affected by the ongoing public health restrictions.
- Eligible businesses will receive 15 percent of their sales revenue for the month of April 2019 or February 2020, up to a maximum of $5,000.

Quebec:
- The provincial government is providing $25 million in financial assistance to the City of Montreal’s artist workshop grant program. The city is providing an additional $5 million.
- The main objectives of the program are to renovate artists’ studios in the Montreal area and ensure their sustainable development.

- The provincial government is providing an additional $2.5 million to the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) to be spent in support of music and cultural festivals.

Ontario:
- The provincial government is investing nearly $690,000 to train 260 manufacturing workers and apprentices on how to improve productivity, keep them safe on the job and strengthen our supply chains.
- Courses will be offered in person or virtually, and will be available to employees in any manufacturing company in the province at no cost.

Manitoba:
- Manitoba has expanded its Asymptomatic Rapid Testing Screening Program to more than 35 businesses and community partners
- The Asymptomatic Rapid Testing Screening Program provides antigen-based rapid tests to businesses and critical service providers in non-health-care settings who can self-administer a sustainable asymptomatic screening program.

- Effective May 24, 2021, Indigenous people in Manitoba are eligible to book their second-dose vaccine appointments.
- Indigenous people who have received their first dose can call 1-844-626-8222 (1-844-MAN-VACC) to book appointments at super sites, pop-up clinics or urban Indigenous clinics.

British Columbia:
- Amendments to the Business Corporations Act, Cooperative Association Act, Credit Union Incorporation Act, Financial Institutions Act and Societies Act will permanently allow companies, societies, credit unions and co-operative associations to host fully or partially electronic meetings.
- In April 2020, the Province temporarily removed legislative barriers to meeting electronically so organizations could continue to govern and provide services through the pandemic. This temporary option has supported more efficient, flexible and accessible business practices for organizations.

- The province is accepting applications for support through British Columbia’s new major anchor attractions and tour bus companies funding program.
- Anchor attractions and tour bus companies face high fixed costs because of their infrastructure and minimum staffing requirements. The $50-million BC Major Anchor Attractions Program may offer up to $1 million per attraction through one-time grants.
- Eligible expenses include payroll, rent and utility costs related to restarting or ramping up operations in preparation for gradual reopening in alignment with provincial health orders. The funding is available for not-for-profit organizations and businesses.
- The application window is open until June 7. Funds will be provided in July 2021.
