Skills for Change 2018 AGM & Employer Partner Awards Gala
Mark will be delivering a keynote speech at the Employer Partner Awards Gala which recognizes Skills for Change leaders and partners who have excelled in including immigrants in business. Awards will recognize Diversity Champion of the Year, Leadership in Business Mentoring, New Partner of the Year, and Small to Medium Business Champion.
Diversity@Work conference
As a guest speaker at the Diversity@Work conference, Mark will join other industry changemakers and pioneers working to ensure diversity in the workplace presenting at the conference. This will be the 9th annual conference hosted by Skills for Change.
Other organizations represented at the conference include Accenture Canada, Ryerson’s Diversity Institute, Deloitte Canada, MaRS, Pride at Work, Ross & McBride LLP, DLA Piper Global Law Firm, CivicAction, Ontario Nonprofit Network City of Toronto’s Anti-Black Racism Unit.
The conference takes place Sept. 21 at St. James Cathedral Centre from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Metropolis North America Migration Policy Forum
Also, in September, Mark heads to Mexico City for the 2nd annual Metropolis North America Migration Policy Forum. The conference theme is Expanding Cooperation on Migration: People, economy, and security in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The two-day conference, hosted at the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, begins Sept. 27
